ABOUT US

HOW IT ALL
began
We met on Instagram because Theo felt the urgent need to defend a film: Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. For me, it was overrated. For him, an absolute masterpiece. From that moment on, we never really stopped talking. We bonded over cinema, watched films long distance, started video calling, and then… one day in June four years ago, Theo came to Milan and that was that.
We fell deeply in love and simply couldn’t stop choosing each other, adventure after adventure. A couple of years ago, we moved to Amsterdam and now… now we go to the cinema by bike.
THE CASTLE
Castello di Agazzano rises among the gentle hills of the Piacenza countryside, with medieval walls and a Renaissance soul. Built in the 13th century and transformed over the centuries, it preserves frescoed halls, elegant loggias, and an Italian garden.
Within its rooms echo stories of noble families, balls, duels… and a few legendary ghosts.
Today, the castle is a place where time seems to have stood still,
suspended between history and romance.
It almost feels like being in a movie...

SOME USEFUL INFORMATION
GOOD TO KNOW
before you go
Will there be a babysitter?
Yes. Children are more than welcome. A bilingual babysitter will be available throughout the entire day, with castle themed face painting and a few fun activities to keep the little ones entertained.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal attire. Women are kindly requested to wear long evening dresses (please no black, white or purple), while men are asked to wear dark formal suits. The celebration will take place in a beautiful castle, and we would love for everyone to embrace the atmosphere and match the elegant, timeless vibes of the setting.
Will there be someone coordinating the event who speaks both Italian and English?
Yes. Veronica will be our wedding coordinator throughout the entire day. She speaks both Italian and English and will be there to help you find your way, assist you when needed, and gently guide everyone through the different moments and timings of our wedding.
How does the return to the hotel work?
Guests staying at Il Cervo will be able to walk back to the hotel. For all other guests, a shuttle service will be available for the journey to the venue and for the return. The return shuttle will run at two different times, one earlier for those who prefer a quieter ending, and one later for the true party animals.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, absolutely. Parking is available between the church and the entrance to the castle.
Is there any transport required during the wedding?
No, the entire event will take place on the grounds of the castle.
WHAT'S IN THE AREA?
LOCAL AREA
your italian vacation
If you’re coming here also for a short getaway, you’re choosing a place made for slowing down. Around Castello di Agazzano you’ll find gentle hills, vineyards, quiet villages, and local trattorias where time naturally stretches.
From here you can explore Piacenza and the Val Luretta, Bobbio or easily plan a day trip to Milan for art and design, Genoa for the sea and its historic lanes, or Lake Como for calm waters and breathtaking views.
It’s the perfect base to breathe, eat beautifully, and move between nature and cities at an unhurried pace. A small retreat, with many wonderful roads leading out from it.
